Description

Fantasy Roleplaying Game Characters, Part I: Elin After spending some time in a black void without inspiration, I finally decided it might be fun to do some portraits of the various characters I have played in roleplaying games over the years. This is a character called Elin that I played in Ultima Online back in 2001. She was primarily a Tamer, rode a jet black horse with red eyes known as a Nightmare (she tamed it herself) and could command dragons (she had 3 of them in her stables, a white one, a red one and a brown one). She also had some skill with a bow and a sword and knew a small amount of healing magic. She could also stealth. A true multi purpose character! Made entirely in DAZ Studio with a tiny bit of postwork in PSP7 (horses red eye and some shadows). NB: The background is a photograph I took a couple of weeks ago while out walking my dog.

Great scene and idea, trying to "materialize" a game charater was one thing that pushed me into 3D. Very well done!

Always handy to keep a horse around to make a run for it if the pet dragon gets rowdy. Nice image and great idea to put visual form to your older RPG characters.

What great friends! A horse when she gets tired and a dragon when she is in need of a fight! Great work on the colors and vibrant scene!
