As the sun broke over the horizon, it's rays gently kissed this Tulip. Each day, as I awaken, I receive early morning blessings. Ever grateful for the gift of life, I rejoice in loving and being loved.

Some mornings I feel lucky to open my eyes and find a new day, and other mornings I curse the fact that I do... :-) A lovely shot of this tulip. The petal in the back sort of cups the center piece as if protecting it from intruders.
