Description
Like others who have Terragen I would like to be able to make renders that show "rays of light". I'm currently working from some tutorials that have to do with making rays of light shine through.
This is my first experiment. What I want to do is to be able to make the rays look more pronounced or harder.......
I should also mention that I'm now aware of the max size allowed when uploading to one's gallery and this particular render is less than half the size allowed. Hopefully I'll remember to increase the size the next time I upload to my gallery.

Best thing to do is not use 3D clouds. The rays do not come through - or at least I never got them to work. You need a rather high blue sky atmo height and dense enough as well. This all depends on sunlight strength, too. I use 400 - 500%, but that throws everything out of whack. You'd have to adjust all colors on surfaces & atmo. Keep trying - it certainly is possible!

You know I'm saving these comments so that I will have them when I open up Terragen again and continue to work on it. I kind of toyed with the idea of increasing the sunlight strength so high but I thougght that it might be too much - until I saw your post. I'm going to give it a try!
