Hmm....I think it's a macro of jam (or fruit jelly, depending on where in the world you are!). Love the little details towards the right corner, very cool little abstract!

Looks like a pot of boiling water (or some such liquid). Reminds me of a shot I took of rain beads on a oil slick in a parking lot. I was playing with the color and shifted it all to red. When my oldest girl (14) saw it, she said "EWWW!!! BLOOD!".... Great image though. It's a lot of fun to play with stuff like that.
