morning all :o)
i`ve always loved flowers and yet until i started taking pics seriously i never bothered to look inside to see what made them tick ,only admire the colours and form and how well they looked in displays .what i also find fascinating is looking straight in to a flower the stamens on a tulip are`nt as noticeable as when you look side on as in this pic .the flower has only just opened so there is no pollen ,i just peeled the petals back gently to reveal the workings :o).

This is what I like best about flowers...the inside. I peel a lot of flowers just to get a record of what's inside. You have done a stellar job of a macro on this one. Just about perfect!

Excellent capture Mick, the colour and the clarity is the masterstroke, as you say, if it had had pollen in there it would not have been such a clean capture, excellent presentation too, good worke mate!

Oooh, this is a gorgeous and stunning capture! Of course it's flower innards, but aspects of this remind me of a piece of alien architecture! Wonderful, and in many ways, inspiring. I love the sense of color here! It's incredibly vibrant.
