Description

Just uploading this to let you know I'm still here. I haven't had much time in front of the computer lately. This is a work in progress. I'm modelling charcaters for a animation project, I've been planning for years, but only recently started work on. To find out more about Antilus check my previous uploads (there aren't many). In this render he's composed of mud and sticks. Still learning to use Blender and C4D. I think I'm beginning to get the hang of them. Still haven't figured out how to apply SSS in a believable render, so I've left it alone for now. Anyone know of any good tutorial sites for C4D or Blender?

Nice modeling and character, nice texturing, I know nothing about C4D or Blender have you checked the tutorial area on renderosity :O)

Great character! And I suggest you avoid Blender if you're used to non-crappy UIs. Just my opinion ;)

Blender....yeuuugh I cannot fathom the interface of that program. My hats off to anyone that can. Great character, He looks like he could be very expressive.

Very interesting. For C4D, did you look on Maxon's site? As a Frenchman I get tuts on the site of the French community with is www.frenchcinema4d.fr, but similar exists in others countries, e.g. Italy. You ought to email to C4D users of your language here, there are excellent ones such as gattone_blu and rollmops. Sure if you go in the C4D forum here you could find answers! Unfortunately I am too beginner to help although daily I use C4D.
