Description

Shot taken showing the rocks of the sea wall defences that surround beach House. On wild nights the sea lash's the windows of this lived in home. The norwegian granite was shipped into Bay and dropped on the high tide. It was then collected on the low tide. Things are all change in Bay. Sir David has today gone back to his old job in London. I have time to post again! Thank you for looking and as always for treasured comments. Hugs. Diane. xx

Certainly a marvelous capture. The view is stunning. The first thing I thought was that house must have quite a front seat in a storm. How exciting to live there. Guess you hope the waves don't toss up anything caught up in the water or you lose a window. :-) Glad to hear we'll be seeing more of you now but so sorry you will be on your own so much again.

We've missed you Diane, this is another exceptional capture. The sea is quite dark but a lovely blue peeking through the clouds adds a contrast to this wonderful composition..Bravo.

My first reaction was 'Brave people', living where the cold waves and rocks meet. It doesn't look friendly, it looks cold, and your fabulous composition has detailed all this beautifully!

This is an engaging, beautiful capture, very dramatic, but serene at the same time. It's one of those shots that just makes me dream, and well...I can see myself living in that house with one particular someone, and a cat or two. The colors here are amazingly crisp and wonderfully natural. Fantastic work, and an instant favorite!
