I don't know why it took me so long to come to your gallery, since I've had the privilege of seeing your WIPs in the Forums. This is a beautiful, articulate and moody hand, and yes one can see "David" in it; but it's also your own vision, with very sensitive shading between the veins and a highly refined use of charcoal (a medium in which many can accomplish only sketches...not an easy medium to 'sing' with, for many). This sings, has much mystery, and I think it's beautiful. Your background, too, has subtle movement around the hand. A very sensitive piece...
