Description

My name sake. I'm a lot like this spike: Bent, but not broken. Used, but not used up. Pited and worn with age, but my point is still potent.

LOL, great capture none the less, the nail, or spike, has great texture, and that shadow rocks, and it suits as an avatar too :)

Cool Shot! Great c/u view of the spike, and the shadow just sets it off. Excellent!

Thanks guys! The afternoon sun was just right for some great shots of this. The rocks are part of a bed I have in the works at the house and when I saw those groves in one, realized it was the perfect setting. That's a rail road spike I pulled out of some cross ties one time. I took my trusty Dremal tool to it and after grinding off the rust, was left with a fantastic paperweight and conversation piece.

Excellent lighting and capture of the texture which is very meaningful considering the title. Very well said and it makes a great avatar.
