Hi everybody i 'm looking for a new type of render for a new book i'm working on.I start from a Vray render and work on it whith photoshop. i try to reach a chinese painting effect. The fun part of this new project is that i send to a writer the precedent post i made.(bad mood) He found inspiration around the character and he is working on this text..happy and misfortunes of Wu.. Hope you like it.

Great! Just curious if the Chinese would easily grasp this style of a cartoon, if they have stuff similar to manga.. This is sooo different:) I"m also curious how they take the funny contrast between the guy"s sad face and these red lanterns:) BTW, I l-o-v-e the style you used to model his face. That seems much more "humane" to me that the previous way you expressed cartoon chars. Just easier drawing the sympathy:) And has sooo rich expression. And last but not least;) what are the snails for?
