Description

I've always loved doing vegetation. Spring and Evoken's blossoms inspired me to really go for something special this time. 100% ZBrush. Nothing imported or touched up after the fact.

This flower is gorgeous! The petal looks absolutely true, just waiting for a bee. There is a nice deepth which I have not seen so much in Zbrush until now. Was this rendered in Zbrush ?

Yes, this project was 100% ZBrush. The depth is due to my Render settings. The background layer is extremely close to the blossom, so the depth cue was compressed into a very small space. In addition, I inverted the graph to make the depth reach full strength much more quickly. This graph allows for other effects, as well -- such as starting out high and ending high, but having a low blur at an intermediate difference. Combined with an alpha, it would allow the camera to be tightly focused on one point of intermediate depth. Anyway, thank you! :)

This is so beautiful, very well done and amazing. I like to look close at your artwork Aurick as there is so much detail
