Description

Chittenango Falls In the native tongue, it means the water runs north. (which it does) The falls is 167 feet tall. Glacial sculpting over 400 million year-old bedrock is responsible for this scenic feature. an interesting side note..the village of Chittenango has two rather famous people that lived there. L. Frank Baum the author of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and Dave Mirra Professional BMX bike athlete

Love the ice blue color of the water as cascading down while a bottom of the scene is changing to greenish. Wonderful capture.

Chittenango... I had to look that up. With a name like that, it had to be either NY or PA. Nice shot; I'd like to see what it would look like with a slightly slower shutter speed, too.

The color of the water, the bubbling froth of the rushing water...the view of those incredible "steps" are all wonderfully captured. The deep shade to the right give this a lot of added interest.
