Description

Thank you for your comments on my Shades of Purple series, the most recent upload "~Shades of Purple~ 5 ~Candles~". This is a cross section of a tree that was cut down in the park. I took it a few months ago. It was just waiting for it's turn. I've had a few computer glitches. Mainly, I overloaded the c drive with tooo many photos... LOL. So My wonderful husband backed them up and moved them to a different drive. We will be looking for an external hard drive just for my pictures... yeah. Just what I've been wanting anyway. So, that's why I've not been around so much this week. Now, I am trying to find the photos I was working on and had ready to upload. They are there, but I just don't navigate the computer very well. But hey, you gotta look on the bright side, this time last year I couldn't even put a photo on the computer. Now look at me... lol. Have a Beautiful Week! ~Melinda~

I find wood grains to be so wonderful and personal. Wood has a voice and this pieces screams for attention. Great shot.

Terrific POV, clarity and textures in this shot, Melinda. As for your missing photos, don't you have a finder capability on your computer, like I have on my Mac OS 3.9 Panther system? And external drives are relatively inexpensive these days compared to 3 or 4 years ago.

coll pov and compo and nice nature abstract,1 thing,it seems a little too bright,i would have darkened it a little more to let the earth colors of the wood come out more, just a thought and off course it is all a matter of taste..lol,take care and keep em comming.
