SURPRISE! I'm not leaving after all....I'm going to California....As most of you know Dave Oblad has been my teacher in Bryce...we've been friends quite awhile now....have spoken on the phone numerous times, exchanged emails and here recently talked a bit more about ourselves rather than just our art....well as they said in the movie The Godfather...Dave made me an offer I couldn't refuse....I'm leaving Ohio early saturday morning and I'm driving to California to be the house guest of Dave and his wonderful Mother....I will be living there with them and time will tell what will happen later down the road....I am so excited people....I mean really excited!!! Now I know this image doesn't look like California but hey, I was in a hurry...LOL...
Not only am I excited about spending time with Dave and seeing if our relationship will bloom, I'm totally excited about spending time with his Mom....I've been so blessed....and I couldn't be happier....so, I'll be back....big smile....
I want to thank each of you for your wonderful emails to me...hearing you each say how much you would miss me brought tears to my eyes...I love you all!

This is a beautiful image and a pleasant surprise! It's good that you are back, but also on the verge of an adventure, it seems. Often it's a change of scene that makes our lives go in necessary directions! I've learned that by crossing the Atlantic and getting stuck in one of the most beautiful cities on Earth!!!! As for this image though, I love the composition, and your signature sense of color! I always look forward to that! BIG hugs from Prague!!!

Whew! I'm so glad to hear you're NOT leaving! Of course, I just found all these last images all at the same time, and am commenting from the earlier ones to the newest ones, so I thought, at first, you were going to California to see family and resolve a potential "situation" (as in, someone might have pulled life support before they were supposed to). I'm glad to know that's not so, but that you're going to visit friends! We should all get together and throw a party for Dave, for talking you into staying! (many thanks, Dave!!) You have a safe trip, and have fun out there, you hear? Enjoy the time with them, see new sights--go to the pier at Santa Monica, too, 'cause it's nice! (I've been there once) But if Dave says he wants to take you to Venice Beach, ya might wanna give him one of "those" looks, and say no thanks, LOL! (been there, too--very strange folks there!) grin Just be safe, and go have fun! And this image is so nice, it's going to my fave list! :D

WELCOME TO SUNNY SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA!! You're gonna love it, well except for the traffic and getting lost to go anywhere and the smog and the $4.50 a gallon for gas. LOL!!!! But you will rapidly become addicted to the weather and the sunsets are amazing!!! And the shopping! OMG, the shopping is heaven! LOL!! And, of course the beaches rock and you have to go hang in WeHo, that's West Hollywood, major funtime there. Oh yeah, your art is so pretty!!! Drive safely!
