Description
It had come to him in his sleep. The vision of a woman. She was reaching out to him, imploring him. beckoning to him. She spoke
Her lips moved but he couldn’t hear what she was saying. It appeared
Seldom at first, but her visits were becoming almost a nightly affair.
In his dreams she always came in from the north. Was this a dream?
Or perhaps some memory from his past, the past he had lost some where. Was her world real, or was this place of horrors and monstrosities the real world. Whichever she was a dream or memory
He now had a goal. He moved north towards the mountains that always seemed just on the horizon. Pain sensed the difference in him. The animal seemed itself to be pulled to the north.
It felt good, to have a set direction, instead of rambling senselessly over the land.

What is north of you? Have you lost an old love but see her still? I'm just kinda trying to get in your head to see where this came from.... I do look to the west a lot... Where I am from, you can see the Mountains to the west... The Mountains here feel like they are calling for you to come back to nature - so, what is so interesting about the north for your character? Your picture and comments stirred up questions - that's a good thing.
