Description

Early Morning Mood, a special Tulip variety -3- Close to de Keukenhof a noticed 3 fields with very special Tulip varieties; Today the first one. I hope you like the presentation which shows you a little bit how this variety looks like in different stages and as a group in the field!! The early morning mist is still in the air as you can see on this photo!! The red and pink-red fields on the right hand side are the fields from my last 2 uploads!! It’s not my favorite hour to be in the fields, I’m an evening person, but I had to bring my wife’s auto to the garage for service and had a nice two and a half hour walk back home, a walk surrounded by blooming field with daffodils, hyacinths and a few tulips. The walk was not the problem, I did not had to walk back to collect the car, but the garage bill at the end of the day ……… well I’m still alive!!! Photo taken last Friday, the 11th of April, in the morning with only little bit sunlight due to the morning mist. Thanks for your time viewing and commenting my photo’s, its highly appreciated. Verny nice composition, i also love the bokeh of the first shot of the bottom row. The first shot from the first row i would have cropped out the sky since it distracts from the tulips.

This is an excellent series, Henk ! I wish I had enough time (and good weather) to visit these flowers fields myself too... In a few days, I will visit Madeira...let's hope that the flowers season is still going on there... This afternoon, I was feeling younger : we celebrated the 125th birthday of the new company...while we both started our career in a company much more than 200 years old !! LOL ! Just hoping that you and Deanne are still doing fine !
