try to add some waterworks plugins (e.g sorta surf).To get a "better" sky use multi-directional shadow lightning (lightning conditions/background light).It looks like you rendered your picture with the standard settings. If you render with a larger solution (non registered version 1280x960) you can resize the pic to 640x480 and sharpen it once with a graphic program.so you will get a more detailed surface.
