Description

I think about 90% of my nature images are close up and macro views. As a lover of the "smalls" in nature, I have quite the advantage over the lover of wide open vistas because I can shoot almost anywhere and come back with some nice images for myself. Get in close to the subject and nobody has to know that those glorious nature shots were shot in an ugly parking lot, unless you tell them! ********* These were captured last spring in a parking lot where there were many flowering trees and bushes. The background is actually the pavement that was in the shade. That rendered the background a blue color but I took it just a step further and pumped up the blue just a tiny bit more in Photoshop for more ooomph. Thanks for viewing!

I believe these are pears; whatever, they're quite beautiful, and using the blue of the pavement to your advantage was genius! Excellent job, Dorothy.

I also love doing flower macros. Some are small flowers and others are small parts of flowers. This one you have done is very inspiring for me. You shot is excellent but the way you manipulated the background is exceptional.
