Description
He wanders the twisted melted land.
That few remaining can barely stand.
With resources few and far between.
A bleak future can be seen.
He scans the horizon with a bit of hope.
Then begins his journey down the next slope.
When the Earth will begin to heal, he can not tell.
For now he(and the few others)continues to live
in hell.
The Earth, once so green.
Had become a wasted thing.
With air, water and land once so clean.
How had it become an object now so obscene.
The people, now very few and far between.
Had laid waste to it until it couldn't be seen.
That the precious earth that had been once
so clean.
Had become a twilight zone with a landscape
so rough and mean.

Your take on the future is quite similar to mine! Great composition although not a very happy prediction. Too bad this species won't wake up to the error of it's ways and start being stewards of this planet instead of rapers.
