Description

Here is my first 3d effort. I know it is still not 100 % but it is my first effort with which i had success. I tried many times with out success and eventually i succeeded.I used the Gimp photo program which seems to be the easiest program to do a 3 d picture.I am waiting for everyone's comments. Hope everyone enjoys this effort of mine. Regards, Christo.

Christo - I'm not knowledgeable on 3D at all but what I see is that there is quite a bit of tidying up to do around the edges. But it's very cute!! xx

Pixels need to be fixed up around the edges of the squirrel, easiest to do with a mask. I think if you continue to work with what you have and build a background to go with the scene it could look cool. Might not be a bad idea to make some of your own grass to go in front of the little guy. You have a good concept, now just take it further.

Your concept is spot on and your design very well done. Follow Fizzy's advice and you should be fine. We should organize a challenge in this regard... Hehe

Wonderful first effort. The finer details will get easier with practice.

You are definitely on the right track. My one tip would be to use about a 3 pixel feather mask when cutting out the squirrel. It gives it a softer more realistic look. Great job.

Wonderful effort, I have had limited success at 3d, I will have to spend much more time at it.
