Description

This is Elizabeth, one of the cats I had over in the UK. She looks innocent enough but she's really a thief! I used to come home from work and empty out my pockets onto the coffee table. It took me a while to realize I wasn't crazy, but when I put money down (bills), it would disappear. At first I thought I just imagined it, then finally I knew it was disappearing. The cat had a fetish of some sort for anything she could carry off in her mouth. She would wait until I wasn't watching and steal the money and scraps of paper and take it to her stash. The trick was finding the stash. She put it all behind a dresser in a spare bedroom. When I finally found it I thought I'd hit the lotto, in total there was about $55 in bills, and also a good amount of pieces of scratch paper, a couple envelopes, and a whole pile of her toys. Unbelievable! The pic isn't that great, it was scanned in.

ROFL!!! She must be part "cat bird"... I think it is magpies that steal things like that? and she is black too.... like the crows... anyway, great story and fun that you did "win the lotto" when you finally found it all! :) LOL!!
