Description

first of a four color set from the backlog. i like the different colors, so i'll be posting one a day for a bit. thanks so much for all comments, feedback, and critiques. they help me keep going forward, and keep trying new things. you have my deepest appreciation and my best wishes. the texture is Genesis, found over at DAZ3d. and uses Poseworks pwSurface. it doesn't use any of the awesome techniques found in the Dreamlight club, but i will be trying those once i get through some stuff and spend time updating all things D|S. and if anyone has cloth painting tutorials they recommend, please PM me. i have a work where i need all the help i can get.

I like what you got going here, it does have a magical feel to it... I love the hands with the light in them - It gives it a feel of the cloud action is coming through the hands... at first look, I though sh was blowing it, but now feel it is released through the hands. I would like to see you do more with this - I was thinking when looking at this that here eyes don't tell you what is going on - at first I thought the eyes had like a dead look to them, then they appear to have a consintration look into her hands as if see is looking into a crystall ball. Sorry I can't help much more than that, I've been doing 3D stuff for nearly 2 years and still consider myself a beginner. YOU HAVE BEEN FAVORITIZED!!!

I´ve been thinking a lot before making any comment. First, I like a lot and want to make it a favorite of mine. It´s a very impressive image; everything matches sooo well; i guess the use of a red overall color and to concentrate the attention on a medium shot frame are among the best achievements on it. Now, talking about improvements, I would say that the image deserves a different treatment on lighting. I guess that there are at least 2 or 3 lights sources coming together at a same point, and that they have the same intensity range. It would be interesting to see the same image having the main light source coming from the magic/cloud and by applying less intensity to the rest of the light sources. I think the magic would be more noticeable that way. Hmmm... oh, yes, I already said how much i like it.

It is a great composition and coloration. Some little things, the lighting has been mentioned already..take a close look when painting hair at what it covers and what parts shouldn`t..just a hint !

Great character. We feel her strength and calm determination. She knows what she can do, she has self-confidence. Great body language and expression. I love her hair and outfit. In fact, I agree with bogart137 regarding the light. A more focused light would enhance the drama in this image, IMO. Excellent work!
