Description

I was surprised to find such a variety of windows on a single facade facing a side street. It's a TB hospital in Rostov-on-Don. I am sure both the building and its patients need a great deal more care.

Greetings Nikolay, The colours and tones of this one are almost those of the Mediterranean architecture. My only suggestion would be to clone out the graffiti as it distracts from the overall beauty of the image. AS my mind travels on, I wonder what the insides must look as I feel no one could be living there. Have a wonderful weekend and thank you for sharing. egmont

What a wonderful place Nikolay, beautiful colours and the building is in a perfect state of de-construction. Excellent!!

A very apt title for all the different windows in one building. A bit like history. Fascinating photograph. So much to see and feel.

WOW! WOW! WOW! I love the details in this image! There is so much to take in. There is a sense of both decay and life, simultaneously! This is one of those images that contains multiple stories, and all of them are interesting, at least to me! Wonderful work! Definitely a favorite!

Love the colors, even if it is sad to see a beautiful building decay like this. Great capture again!

I think I missed something. Why is this point-and-shoot shot on an aviation page? Regardless of what the people above have said, this is NOT great photography. Most competition judges would bin this. Now if the author had built his own camera, cast and polished the glass lens and then taken the shot, maybe I might see something in it to commend his work. Currently, all I see is someone standing in front of a decaying building and pressing a button. Sycophantic I am not.Sorry.

Wel, regardless what Ratfugel writes, I think this is an excellent shot and I like it very much. Why? Because in its damage it still looks beautiful, exiting because of the different windows, the spoiled wall, so we see part the bricks. The graphiti? I like that and finally the little sad tree. Very fine clarity. That is how I see it.
