Description

We've been kept busy around here with two car shows in a row and drag races every weekend... Finally got some time today and thought I'd share one with you :-) I've been teaching my husband how to use his D300 and this is his first really successful panning shot.... If you like drag pics and car pics check out all our shots here on my flickr Drag Strip set: http://flickr.com/photos/lisasam67/sets/72157604724229208/

GREAT CAPTURE! This is not an easy trick. The car kept in focus while the world behind it is blured away! GREAT GREAT GREAT job!

And an excellent one too. The car is very sharp with no sign of motion blur. A sharp contrast to the background which conveys the speed of our Speed Racer.

Nice work. Panning isn't easy. Really well done.

I missed the Southern Nationals on cable yesterday after seeing the preliminaries the day before because my sister came home and she doesn't like the noise. The ribbon of steel guardrail gives this a sense of motion blur that is fictitious in detail. The one that did not get away!!
