Description

This guy and two others kept getting in my face so I decided to get in theirs! I am allergic to bees so a bit afraid of getting too close and these guys were so huge! Very different from the typical bumblebee in color and somewhat aimless in flight, they fly for the longest time without lighting...and generally light on wood rather than on flowers which I found a bit odd, maybe they are sensory deprived because of their size? Approximate size 1" long. Thanks for looking and for previous comments! I am a bit behind on comments, so busy, sincere apologies!
