Description

My first concern is that I offended some with my last upload - Cardinal - making a comment about Global Warming (pfft!). Some feel so strongly about this issue, and I apologize if my little 'dig' offended anyone. It's never my intention to upset a soul. Me, personally, am not anti-anything ... I'm about the most easy going person I know. My upload was just all in fun---Minnesota (USA) has had a long, rough winter this time around .. it seems things will never melt and green up again. Just when I rake the yard, and spread new grass seed, Minnesota decides to give us another snow storm. Hence, my last upload ... I'm not sure what kind of bird THIS is; it's a new one on me. It seems, according to my little book here, its some kind of Warbler. Like the Sparrow, there are many kinds. I'll let you decide what kind of Warbler it is -- if its even a Warbler at all. lol I'm just a girl with a Nikon. What do I know about birds. Thanks for stopping by .. hope you had a nice day. Shari

looks to me, like one of the "puffy-chubby warblers" - that's not in your book?

Ha, the bird must have originated from the 40s or 50s with that 'hair style', lol. The previous upload was fun, no offense in that, the topic is highly debated anyway Shari. Some believe we fight a phenomenon not properly based upon good scientific results and we add worse toxic waste to the environment trying to fix this so called problem. I won't take sides, let me conclude by saying I love the bird in the upload. ;)

That's one ball of fluff! Burrrrrr. Anyone without a sense of humor about life is doomed to die unhappy. The first to complain about anything are generally the last to come up with another plan. Hey, did I say this bird here is a big ball of fluff?? :-)

Well it didn't upset me none, I agree with PJ if you can't laugh at life you may as well be dead. I have never seen a bird like this Shari, so I'm glad somebody came up with the right one for you. Pretty looking thing, nothing like our plain down to earth house sparrows. Excellent capture. Bravo!!!!!

A lovely image! I thought your last upload was brill! One of the reasons my face is so creased is that I've spent my whole life laughing, (well that's my excuse anyway.)

nice shot, with the yellow flashes standing out well. i agree about White-throated Sparrow, and as a global warming agnostic i have some sympathy for the Cardinal's confusion. i agree the climate is doing something, but just what we probably won't find out until it is too late.
