Description
He took the gauntlet.
- I accept your challenge at any time and any place.
- You will pay for your arrogance.
He left the place and his wife followed him. Now she became unsure. She had not expected her husband challenging Sir Paul but from now on there was no way back.
She had complained about Sir Paul, having disrespected her by not conceding the first rank on tribune while she assisted the tornament. Sir Paul claimed this place for his own Lady and now for this two of the most famous knights had to enter in duel.

Wow! Excellent scene to demonstrate pride and heightened sense of honor. splendid armors and gowns. What makes the scene (for me) is the knight starting to bend in accepting the thrown gauntlet. Dick

Fantastic image! When honour demands justice, sometimes honour is what is paid and justice takes a step back. Excellent depiction of the gauntlet being cast and challenge issued.
