Bazze's free Spitfire rendered in Vue. High res texture & bump maps included with the model. I played with the materials a little to get the bump and specular looking (hopefully) nice.
Spectral atmosphere with a low cloud layer and global illumination. No postwork except compositing.

it's hard for me to comment, being neither an aircraft fan nor WWII expert. that said, it looks great to me! i like the skyscape and the distant mountains. i only wish there were more clouds.

Very cool, the Spitfire - probably the slickest plane of WWII, I think you have a good metalic quality on the plane and the sky is lush
