Description
I got this dress modeled pretty easily and I tried really, really hard to rig it - but JCM has me stumped. I was not able to come up with a good rig without somehow copying the JCMs from the figure, and I couldn't figure a way to do that. Anybody cares to let me in on the secret I'd really like to know. But the beautiful part is that frankly, dynamics look a billion times better than any conforming clothing can really hope to.
Why is she barefoot? Because very regrettably, I have no shoes for SP3 except for a pair of rather inappropriate boots that really did not go with the dress.
Dress was modeled in Cinema 4d; character is DAZ SP3, Blackhearted/Rio Irina morph and tex with a custom skin shader; hair is DAZ Ultimate Ponytail. Minimal postwork, just a little blur.
Going to get the dress uploaded to freebies as a dynamic item shortly.

I've had a lot of problems with the cloth room myself, but hell, you did a lot better than I ever have. My characters' dresses always just fall right off!

Very sumptuous looking! Send me a PM about what's bugging you with JCM's, maybe myself or Randy can offer some advice.

The dynamics came to the rescue. Her breasts look fantastic through the fabric.

The fabric looks fantastic - very realistic folds.

what I've done in the past to re-rig items belonging to other characters is, open the OBJ and then go to the setup room. While still in the setup room, go to your library pallet and open up the figure that you want to steal the rigging from. Then adjust the dress to the rig. It's been pretty successful for me. I've been doing that long before Wardrobe Wizard haha. It takes a little tinkering.. but it works. R

I can perfectly see and understand your goals in this rigging-matter. But I think it´s perfect the way it is now. I haven´t seen anything like this before in terms of clothing; folds are so natural, the whole dress fits so well with the model. I´ll be anxiously waiting for this feebie.

Okay. Have you check daz.com for help? I go there and get lots of help and the merchants there will REALLY HELP if it looks like you know what you're doing. Also, try getting this book I just got called Secrets of Figure Creation with Poser. I got a copy on amazon.com for $10 including shipping! it cost four times that amount brand new! Or...just ask me for some help sometime! I rig too!
