Description

The old wizard knew there was great power in the staff and his council had been seeking it for a long time.When it was discovered in the possession of the great red drake, the wizard gathered his courage and sought out the dragon in hopes of bartering for the long lost staff. What givest me for the staff? the wyrm asked. What desireth thou, the old wizard replied. Thy life should suffice, the wyrm snickered. Nay, so trifle a thing, requite thou? o wyrm, I have better to give than that, the old conjure bartered Say on, said the wyrm, his curiousity peeked. Behold, beads of many colors, have you ever seen the like? Beads made in Japan, this I shall give you for the staff, the old sorcerer contrived. Beads made in Japan, ah never have I seen the like! The wyrm exclaimed! Done? asked the old trickster! Done! the wyrm replied. A store house of gems, of silver, of gold had he, and now beads made in Japan! :O)
