Description

Perhaps a bit cartoony; but, this was a group of experiments. I guess all that is missing is Wiley Coyote and the Roadrunner. I learned something new here; how to add a second terrain. Thanks Jay for the advice and the maneuvering technique. The distant terrain is a 4097 DEM file of Moonlight Peak, CA. The image map is from a cropped shot I made from an image I found on the Internet.

Dunes are hard to get down pat - yes, I see what you mean, though good experiment! Hint: try stretching the fractal noise a little in the horizontal direction. Now where did I put my my Acme Anvil...?

Multiple terrains opens new doors in creative control for Terragen users- I think it's one of the important advances in TG2. A successful experiment, and I think a terrific desert scene Bob!

The extra terrain is very cool, though I like the stylized dunes in the foreground a lot too!
