Description

Something very different from my last picture..things are not so dark or hopeless now! This was great fun to make....4o minute render followed by hours of post work! The textures and shadows were the main things to add. The lights were several distant lights at low intensity and a spotlight. Postwork in cs2 and gimp! Thanks for looking and commenting. Shane

This is exceptionally well done--like everything else in your gallery! I love the general feel of this piece; it's complex and invites really intense viewing. There are shades of H.R. Geiger in this...but none of it is derivative; I love the fusion of organic and inorganic in this. It's so seamless. Beautiful work.

What struck me in the beginning was that fingernail. So realistic and a great accent to all the rest. Wonderful scene! Love the bold colors and textures.
