Built for speed and nastiness! It's a vicious creature.

"Built for speed" Not at all;) Not able even to reach Ma=2. It`s built for maneouvrability, and its original, much lighter Ma=2 version YF-17 was even more agile than F-16! What is its real strength is the versatility, with ability to both fight enemy planes and attack ground targets in one flight.
