Description

With the possibilities of the new Alpha version I thought I'd redo this one. A different POV, more light and transparent (!) water. Too bad the low poly count of the waterlilly object does show now. And though rendered with 0.9 quality and an atmo quality of 64 the shadows in the water don't look that good. Nevertheless the transparent water does look good, doesn't it. Thank you for dropping by and comments. Andy

I like it very much. I haven't tried the new version, seems like a good thing, though. The low poly of the lily obj isn't that bad. Very interesting piece all in all.

Looks really good Andy, I like very much the composition. I agree about the shadows, but especially in the flowers of the lillies, the shadows are very dark, maybe needs something more soft. Also, it is a shame the the lillies show the polygons so much. Maybe a little PW can fix this? My only other suggestion would be to darken the water a little bit. It looks almost like a gas, especially when you look at the water's edge. Anyway, really nice image, I like it a lot, especially that even with TG2, the images still look quintessentially like yours

I'd say a very nice result - and yes, that water is all right!

Fine rocks and good water. Maybe you could skip the lilys or use something else to focus on?

The problem with the shadows is not atmosphere related but can be fixed with "soft shadow sample" in the lighting tab.
