Description
I took a 270MM lens and put on my 2x lens thing to make it 530mm. I have bought the lens for $25 at a pawn shop a few months ago. I noted as I went back to some of the pawnshops they stop takeing cameras. or they sold the all I do not know. Some do not carry cameras now.
anyway I just wanted to see if it makes a diff in zooming in with the big len I have. I like to get a 500mm or even that 800mm lens I saw on the net but it cost too much. I also have a 90mm lens no zoom on that. I took some shots with that too to see what happens. I post some later. I had to delete about halve the images and will delete more on the day I used this lens. I need more lighting with it for the 2x takes two f stops down as is and I know the big lens needs more light than my smaller lens too. I was happy with what I saw. I know it will work on close ups with out getting in they face. Do not want that . lol
thanks for looking and comments. I thinking of putting this in the music book I putting together.
Plus I was wondering if I should adds captions to the images like I do here on RR? My son say "no"; just let the image spoke for it self.

it is a lady hand. I know in the title i put hands as for two but it just one hand lol My English is bad and that the only language I speak too.

Absolutely brilliant Jocko, very strong hands I think but they caress the violin with love, the warmness that oozes out of the wood scrollwork, that rich golden brown of natural wood. I love your coffee shop shots they are priceless, so full of atmosphere, and even though your English isn't perfect(I have yet to meet someone that is) I can understand what you say and mean. Don't worry about it, none of us are perfect. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!

I love your hand studies. WIsh I could find a lens for $25.00 great find. This looks great Jock. I made a book of my photos for my exhibit at Shutterfly.com. I was quite happy with the quality of it and it was easy to make. I did title some of the photos but not all of them.

I think your book would not be complete without this shot. This is really a fine capture and a moving one as well. The emotion is there. I agree with your son, let the pictures do the talking...a picture is worth a thousand words, you know.

bright lights ans tripod with that set up!! apatures wide open for any thing less then ideal. 2x adapter means 2x as bright needed as a rule. but you can get lucky.
