Description
Hi everyone, these flowers appear each spring along gravel roads in the rocks along the ditch. No idea what they would be. They look a lot like the dandelions found in grass but are not. They thrive in the poor soil and are often up and bloomed with snow still here in cold ground. The stalks grow to a foot high or more, and are very rough. I thought the failed photo made a good enough shot to title differently like "I'm here in the back". Tomorrow I will post a close up top on photo of them to help identify them. They are very interesting. Not much foliage it seems. I'll be anxious to see them a little better. From what I can make out here, they appear to be in the thistle family...
