It has been more than 6 months that I uploaded a Terragen render. I am not satisfied with this one at all ... but for a start, I need the first step. ,-) Volker Harun Feel free to citique, it is appreciated! May there be peace upon You and Your beloved.

I'd say it's quite reminiscent of the Pacific Northwest of the States - maybe a bit more backlighting, but I really cannot say. Nice work, Volker!

Maybe the backround mountains should be darker with browns representing dark soil of the conifer climate. Perhaps if the trees were mixed tonal variants of greens and not all the same tone of green. Throw in some ferns here and there. Water is cool. Clouds are cold and misty. Shoreline is nice with those rocks. :)

Das transparente Wasser tut dem Bild auf jeden Fall gut. Stimme Chris1234 zu, die Hänge hinten könnten einen Tick dunkler sein (oder doch heller?), auf jeden Fall weniger grau. Aber die Wolken, die Steine und das Wasser sind der Hammer!

The background was the hardest part of the image. First it was too light, then too dark. afterwards I added some 'fog to lighten it a bit. Thanks for the input and I agree ,-)
