Description

The sundial in my backyard that reminds me of better times. Canon Rebel XTi 400D Where Are You? You are here, but gone from me Memories can no longer be shared Of the good times, the bad and The music we loved to share Where are you? Love of my life, I miss you dearly But my life must carry on The mundane world I live in now Seems barren without you Where are you? Do you feel free from it all? Does the lack of memory mean freedom for you? You're in your own world now And my life must carry on But without you I'm here, but where are you?

What a stellar image and a very beautiful and sad poem to go with it. Life is sometimes just not fair in that we so often just have to carry on regardless of pain or loss. Wonderful work!! xx

A lovely and poignant photograph and sadly loving poem. I know this sounds crazy, but I believe a loved who is gone, is still with us in their own way. We are imprinted on them as they are on us. Sometimes we have to go on alone, but that doesn't mean we have to stop living and just exist. Living is the best tribute we can give them and in some cases the best revenge.:o) Have a great weekend.

Such a beautifully poignant poem in support of a very telling image. Growing old is no fun, particularly without someone much missed. Mike

A very heartfelt and insightful poem, and the shadow on the sundial is very well placed.
