What a crying shame, another beautiful horse dies, all for the enjoyment of man...She ran the race of her life, coming in second in the Kentucky Derby...This is so hard to take, especially after the tragedy of Barbaro...

Great work Barb and as we don't watch the kentucky derby here I had no idea. This really does make me sick and angry that such magnificent animals have to die for our amusement and so a few idiots can gamble.

i soley agree the use of animals for mans pleasure of making money is bs. never been into that, although the horses are cared for alot more than the greyhounds are, you ought to see how they are caged in the hot weather in these summer days. a very beautiful and heartbreaking image. steve
