is this flower actually called a paintbrush? beautiful flower, none the less. Did you take this with a 35 mm? You should try to give the image for saturation between the colours, highten the contrast. Great image.

This is called "indian paintbrush" by common name, I used a moderate quality digital camera for this shot, and I don't do any refining other than color correction.
