I am married with children haha "24 years" I love to take pictures and write poetry. but as much as I love to take pictures my real passion is my poetry. I hope to someday write a 1,000 poems. I am at about 400 so I got a ways to go. I love RR. it is a great place to meet and make artist friends. besides all of that I lead a pretty boaring life haha. I hope to someday take up Poser but I am not very patient so I don't know when I will start that. It seems to me like it would take a lot of patients. That is pretty much all there is to me.

That pic works perfectly with this one, Randy. After all, what could be more lonely than a man eating beans out of a metal plate in the middle of the woods? LOL... Nice selective coloring -- it adds to tha solitary feel...

We all play out life's drama my friend ... but time is a thief of the finest parts. Nice poem! Mike

A great poem to go with a great picture. I like your use of selective colouring here in the image, and the poem is very beautiul. Thanks for sharing.

Very touching poem Randy, lots of feeling in such few words...the shot is great as well with the color effect. How's the beans? (hehe) not a real fav for us women... just kidding! Are you telling us you are a beardless man now? :) Thanks for sharing with us!

Nice merge of words and photo, I particularly like the line "but the years have slipped up on him like a thief" they have a way of doing that to us all. : )

Only those who leave this world young, escape the trials of those left behind. There's an old saying Randy, "you begin the journey toward death, the moment you're born". Gads...that sounds so depressing...but true. I prefer the many words of my (now deceased) Irish grandmother..."Maireann croí éadrom i bhfad." Translation: "A light heart lives long." Wonderful image and poem, Randy. You're very talented...and I have a wish of my own for you...(another Irish blessing). "May brooks and trees and singing hills join in the chorus too, and every gentle wind that blows send happiness to you." Hugz, Robin
