Description
It started just like any other class. We all took our seats, and the professor began to lecture. As he droned on and on about benefits and burdens, I felt myself beginning to sink into a peaceful oblivion. It was Friday, and I didn't care anymore.
As if from far away, I heard a voice calling my name. "Miss Reed? Miss Reed?"
Suddenly I snapped to attention. The professor was standing right in front of me.
"Miss Reed," he asked again, "could you tell us whether the court was right to grant a constructive easement in this case?"
I was petrified. The professor had caught me off guard. But I was on call... and I hadn't done the reading.
