Description
Devastation:
Even in the midst of our worst Storm Outbreak in History
My State has Endured a Total of 167 Tornadoes, now counting
the 10 that hit last Friday May 2, 2008. We have had at
one time 14 inches of rain in one day followed a week later
by over 12 inches of Snow, but God has Granted that there
should still be New Life where There was none. The Flowers
are from a Vine of my late wifes garden and every year
since her passing have had only diseased and rotted looking
bouquets, but this is the first time in 13 years that they look
Alive and Well and that is where I Hope this finds All of you.

What horrible events. Your wife's roses are beautiful and show the stark contrast between the fragile balance of life and death. Excellent photos.

Life in the midst of destruction, you've given a wonderful picture of contrast here. And what a beautiful dedi to your wife; she lives on with those roses, and of course, always in your heart. m

This is beautifully put together yet so sad...I used to live in Ohio and the tornados were one of my biggest fears....I've seen first hand what they can do to a community and it isn't pretty....but what is beautiful is the way a community comes together to help those in need....I would like to think that your late wife has sent you a message through her beautiful flowers in her garden...a message of love and devotion, a message that shows that life goes on...not just in her garden but for her as well....very well done and a fav!

Beautiful roses Thelby, and a promise of the renewal of life. I understand the devastation of that kind of weather. Grew up in Oklahoma, lived in Kansas, and now in Nebraska. I have always had a fascination about tornados. I guess it has to do with nature being unleashed. Wonderful photos. Lea
