Description

This was taken last weekend; when the sun was beginning to go down, making the light just right. Sumac grows like mad on our property; this is some new growth; I think the stages of the Sumac is quite interesting. They start like this and grow into massive bushes and in the fall they turn such a pretty red!!! Alright, I'll stop before I get carried away about Sumac. :| Have a nice evening. lol Shari

Super clarity, colors, textures and lighting effects in this superlative macro of the gorgeous sumac contrasted against the background, ShariLyn! Oh, you didn't mention Yma Sumac, the Peruvian nightingale, one of my favorite singers, so popular decades ago.

I couldn't tell you what it looks like because it was so long ago and I didn't know what it looked like then but I was effected by poison sumac. I've never had a skin condiiton so painful. and it was on my face. I like these clusters of unopened leaf buds. I just would feel comfortable getting close enough to take this shot. :-)
