Description

And now for something completely, utterly and in all possible ways, shapes and forms, different! I'm giving my muse the night off since he's been so good at offering inspiration for renders (and one that will be going up later, I promise -- then back to the Knight's Series!) This is my baby, my fuzzy, my little psycho dog, Starling (Miss Star, Star Puppy, Psycho Mutt, Fuzzy and so many more names I can't list them). She's an 11 year old Border Collie x Sheltie mix and a pound rescue dog that we got when she was just about 16 months old. When we got her she had the name Chianti, but none of us liked that and so changed it to Starling...it actually wasn't until much later that someone pointed out the contention of the two names to one of my favorite movies: "The Silence of the Lambs" - call me a little dense. :-) Here she's choosing to play coy with the camera and decide, yes, at the moment she LIKES having her picture taken! (any other time she'll snub me) After a long, exhaustive day of running up and down the beach, chasing seagulls, waves and random sniffing at lumps of seaweed and driftwood (and after a much needed BATH in the aftermath - wet dog - UGH!), she's curled up on my bed waiting for me to put my book down, turn the light out and get to sleep...just so she can do it all again the next day. Hope you like and, don't worry! I'll be back to renders soon enough and you won't have to endure any more of my psudo-photgraphy skills...at least...not for a while....!! Muahahahaha!! (it's late, I'm slightly demented and I love my puppy) This one is for Watifeye - thanks for the idea of uploading an image of my Princess Piggy Puppy Pirate Pooch (yea, that's another one of those names) Enjoy!

Ah-h. While I love dogs and have been owned by several, "Get off the bed!" Followed by a guilty look only a dog can give. Nice shot, for indoor flash.

Oh Wow Stacey this is such a wonderful surprise! Thank you ever so much for this super gift, she is soo beautiful and adorable, all snuggled up there and keeping the bed warm. I would love to take her for a run if I could, down the beach to chase some seagulls, may even teach her to do the figure of eight manouvre lol! she certainly has commandeered the best place to be comfy (they always do don't they lol!). I love this little Pooch of yours. Thank you so much for sharing her with us. Woof Woof!
