It needs the extended lower leg support beam at the back of the knee to actually realistically walk... Take a look at a Vulture or maybe a MadCat... But I do like it though...

I think your mechs are coming along nicely, who's to say they need support beams, maybe they are just huge servo motors instead. Looking forward to seeing the finished mech.
