Description

In a desperate attempt at escape,a pilot pulls back the controls of his small craft and launches it into a steep climb as all hell breaks loose behind him.What appeared to be a large rock formation suddenly explodes in a flurry of rock and gravel as a large camouflaged creature lunges upwards from it's stony resting spot,huge mandibles raking the air inches from the craft.Engines whine in protest as the ship banks right and clears danger,the beast growing smaller as the pilot blasts into the atmosphere. Beetle is from Daz3D,texture for it and the landscape is a phototexture from cgtextures.com,ship is created in bryce with my own mats.Postwork includes flying debris,exhaust trails and signature.Thanks for viewing and all your previous comments!

Oh, this is way cool, Neil. And the narrative is an added bonus with the render. Especially like the banking you have given the image and the ATMOS and texture mats are super work.

Wonderful Image, You have captured the true movement. I love the debris and dust. If I were to make any changes, I would possibly make the ship smaller, to give the bug even more of an impending doom factor! Also I think it would have been really cool if you added Some trees or shrubs ontop of the beetle.
