Description

Yeah I know you're gonna say I'm stupid....but I'm not like tourists who makes sudden movements,loud noises,or try and touch or feed wildlife...I just stay calm and don't make sudden movements towards them... This encounter only lasted a minute or so...her babies came up to me...I had my eye on Mama whole time...Don't ask me how but when she came closer I just knew she didn't feel threatened by me..she just wanted to shoo curious babies away and put herself between us..After I snapped this shot I slowly backed away and left her to her babies. I'm from Mountains of Colorado where I had family of Pumas (Mt Lions)that lived in rock band across road from my cabin...just had to keep watchful eye...never advance towards them...and never give them any reason to think of me as a food source. I don't swim in ocean or hike a Mountain trail at dusk or dawn...I do take precautions...I have been in wildlife enviroments all of my life...believe it or not I do have healthy respect for wildlife... Truthfully I'm more afraid humans....PEACE G

lol at Roby... girl you are brave but you also seem to take proper precautions, this is a great shot! Just be careful out there, and I am one that does hike at dusk, so I guess we all take chances, have a great night.
