Description
There is a ride at Disneyland called "Pirates Of The Carribean" at Disneyland. You ride through it on a boat listening to the music from the movie and looking at all the waxed figures, some move and you even hear their voices....it's an inside ride and was one of my very favorites at Disneyland....I'm also a big Johnny Depp fan....and at the end of the ride was a room on our left where this waxed figure of Johnny Depp sat...Dave so graciously snapped the photo of him...I'll treasure it forever....thank you Dave....you're such a sweetie!

Great fun Marlene. You should mention that FLASH photographs are forbidden and Marlene really wanted some pics inside this ride.. So we came back 5 minutes before the park closed and took the last ride.. Being late Sunday night, most visitors had already gone home much earlier and just before closing.. well.. we had the whole entire ride to ourselves. We took great shots of the complete ride. Also, FYI, these guys are more than just wax.. they are robots and move. The first shot of this guy above.. he had his mug to his lips and we couldn't get a clear shot of his face.. luckily, he lowered the mug just before we got too far away and we got this shot. We both thank all you folks for your generous comments and don't worry, Marlene is back on track with her next render in progress, so stay tuned. I'm back to working my usual long hours and got to see her briefly before she went to bed tonight. Mom (Silkylady) and her are keeping busy while I'm at work during the day. So.. OH Yes it can be very difficult photographing without flash such a place. But You maneged it very well, Marlene and he is quite a charming pirate :)))

ohhhhhh this is by far my favorite ride,it's cool and you get to sit back and cuddle up cause it's a little scary for the first time and don't you love the music wow::I can hear it now) The restaurant you pass along the water edge is where my ex who passed young in age,had passes and we'd go there for a marvelous (expensive)dinner after it's cool ride and great times your having and great memories:hugs ))
