The first time I saw one of these was when I moved to New York. A giant bush with huge flowers down the street from me and one behind the fence of my neighbor. I though they were a type of rose and that the petals would be as strong as a roses petals. I was quite surprised when the neighbor gave me some, to find how soft and delicate the petals are.When I touched it to my face to smell it, the petals reminded me of a whisper, thus the title.
